Primary School Libraries Survey
The survey is now closed following publication of the report ‘School Libraries in the UK’ on 30th July 2010. There is also a Press Release on the CILIP web site summarising the key findings. Further details about the School Libraries Group (SLG) and links to the Executive Summary version of the report, published on 20th July at the House of Commons, can also be found on the CILIP web site.

This project, which has helped us to build up a full picture of school libraries, was instigated by the School Libraries Group of CILIP (The Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) and is supported by the School Library Association and the Association of Senior Children’s and Education Librarians, with funds from the Wendy Drewett Bequest.
