Information Management Associates is a research, training and consultancy team focused on information management in the public sector and especially in education, health and libraries. IMA has conducted several national research projects on schools, college, HE and public library services management, as well as various strategic projects on electronic records and LIS research.

In the wake of the recent demise of the Library and Information Commission, IMA has moved into publishing to prevent unacceptable delays to the publication of its reports which might otherwise have occurred. The publications described here are all being sold at around cost price to get them into print for the benefit of practitioners - new publications for library managers.
